NDIS Navigator– Supporting Parents and Carers at Niddrie Autistic School

As the NDIS Navigator at Niddrie Autistic School, I’m here to support parents and carers to feel confident and informed when navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

I understand that the NDIS can sometimes feel overwhelming, and my role is to help make things clearer, answer questions, and walk alongside families as you make decisions about your child’s supports.

How I can help

I can support you with:

  • Understanding and managing your child’s NDIS funding
  • Preparing for the many different types of plan reviews, eligibility reassessment, and gathering supporting evidence
  • Keeping up to date with NDIS changes and what they mean for your family
  • Writing letters of support, that include evidence to support your funding requests and that include an understanding of the NDIS Act, Operational Guidelines and related intergovernmental agreements
  • Funding requests, including at the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART)
  • 2026 focus: supporting families to access iPads and Proloquo2Go through the new NDIS Replacement Process

Parent Group

I also facilitate a monthly Parent Group, which is a relaxed and welcoming space to connect with other families, share experiences, and hear from guest professionals such as occupational therapists and speech pathologists.

Get in touch
