Niddrie Autistic School values collaboration with external therapists and recognises the important role they play in supporting students and families.
Please note:
- External therapy sessions are not conducted at school.
- Therapists must attend the student’s next Student Support Group (SSG) meeting before requesting a classroom observation.
- Families are responsible for inviting therapists to attend SSG meetings.
- Families may request an earlier SSG meeting through the school if required.
Classroom observation:
- The therapist must have attended, or be scheduled to attend, the student’s next SSG meeting.
- Families should share the student’s current Individual Learning Plan (ILP) goals with the therapist.
- The purpose of the observation and any areas of focus should be clearly identified.

Requests made via email, phone, or individual staff contact will be redirected to this webpage and will not be processed until the above steps have been completed.
